Four Seasons Of Love

It´s been an exciting last two months and we´re delighted to state, that our new EP Four Seasons Of Love is finished! We just got the mastered tracks back from Calyx Mastering and we are very satisfied with the result. A video clip is in preparation, a remix in the making and on top of it all we were kindly provided with an original image off Olafur Eliasson´s "Innen Stadt Außen" catalogue by Studio Olafur Eliasson for the record cover (see photo). Now we´re looking for a label in hopes of finding an apt and bright partner for the amplification of our music. That means we´re not going to release the four tracks on an online platform at this point. Nevertheless, we thought it´s stupid to hold back the EP from those of you, who´ve been waiting for it for so long and who have a major interest in hearing it. That´s why we offer you to send us a request by email (klick here) and we´ll send you the tracks in m4a-format.     // Jan+Stephan

Saturday, Spring Season

Stoned? - No. Tired? - Yes. In case you asked yourself what the hell we´ve been up to since the middle of february - there´s a reason for that relaxed look. Evol Bum Pearl has got exciting news to share and it´s going to be within the next month that we take a stand. Keep your tongues wet and start cleaning your ears!

Potsdam Calling

Dear Berliners - it´s excursion time! This thursday, 23rd of february, we´ll play in Potsdam at Red Wall Artist Night. Most presumably this will be our last show with our dear fellow Andrew Cook - he´ll be focussing on other projects in the future. Come and have a last listen to the band´s soon-to-be "old formation" after looking at Lisa Wassmann´s photo exhibition "Walking On The Moon". But that doesn´t mean we´re going to give up on synth sounds in the future at all - we found a great person to complement us form now on. For finding out who it is I suggest you wait until we play at pop10, a local Magdeburg TV-show, next week. You´ll be able to watch the show from the 29th of february here.

EBP winter/spring

Lately we´ve been hiding behind the walls of our studios (and still are) in order to produce our new EP "Four Seasons Of Love". It will contain four selected songs, which were originally intended for our first LP. We figured presenting a few songs to you in advance will keep us from going insane over finishing the longplayer. And presented in the format of a conceptual EP the four songs obtain a collective appearance - each making a peculiar point on the subject of love. Keep yourself posted about the release proceedings.

Furthermore there are two EBP-performances due in this month. On thursday, the 23rd of february, we are going to play at Red Wall Artist Night in Potsdam at the legendary Waschhaus. Lisa Wissmann is presenting her photo-exhibition "Walking On The Moon" - a vernissage not to be missed! And on the 28th we will play at "pop10", a TV-Show in Magdeburg. The show will be broadcast live on local  TV and the internet at 6 pm (and at some point on the Berlin channel AlexTV - we´ll let you know!). You´ll be able to watch the whole show on the internet here from the 29th of february.

Last but not least: since Andrew is going to leave us in the foreseeable future, we are looking for a Keyboard/Synth-Player, who preferably knows how to play the guitar. If you know someone in the area of Berlin, let us know. We´re glad about any suggestions to contact@evolbumpearl.com.
